Scientists from Urgench initiate videoconference on water issues in Aral sea basin

UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office in collaboration with UNESCO Tashkent Office are organizing video conference between Uzbek, Kazakhstan and German scientists for disscussion water issues. Seminar start at the Urgench State University, 11 March, 2004.

New services in framework of the Virtual Laboratories for Drying Lakes in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia installed in Urgench University: Jabber server application and Virtual Laboratory Portal with purpose to improve communications and collaboration among scientists making research in Drying Lakes areas.
Video conference starts 12 March, 2004 13:00 GMT+5 (Tashkent time).
