A sub-regional workshop for potential media trainers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will be hosted by JSC Khabar Agency in Almaty. The workshop is designed to provide professional broadcasters and media trainers with the knowledge and skills that they will need to carry out effective training in their media organizations.

Objectives

At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to
  • Apply the principles and methodologies of adult learning to training
  • Conduct planned and structured training sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate the transfer of knowledge and skills

  • Training Needs assessment

  • Designing instruction /preparing the session
  • On-the-Job Training & demonstration

  • Micro Teaching
Workshop Methodology
    The consultants will use brief presentations followed by team building exercises role plays and micro teaching sessions
Participants‘ Profile
    The selected participants are professional broadcasters, media trainers and staff who are already working as trainers with five to seven years of working experience in their fields of specialisation, including representatives of professional NGOs.
