UNESCO Almaty Office brings UNESCO’s inter-sectoral expertise to support countries in Central Asia in building resilience across multiple sectors. UNESCO Almaty’s response is aligned with UNESCO’s global priorities and COVID response, its sub-regional strategy for Central Asia and the UN system’s.
The document presents five streams clustered around the following priority areas:- Promoting science-based and reliable information
- Ensuring learning continuity and building resilient education systems for the future
- Promoting culture and creative industries as a source of resilience, social cohesion, and livelihoods
