UNESCO Philosophy Day

The Sector of Social and Human Sciences in collaboration with Kazakh National University will be organizing the round table on UNESCO Philosophy Day, on 20 November 2003. The purpose of this meeting is to contribute to the promotion of philosophy and highlight the importance of philosophical thought. For the first time philosophers from Central Asia will gather together.

The topics of the discussions will include Globalization and Fates of Civilizations, Ethics and Civilization, Civilization as Ontological Reality and New Methodology of Philosophical Knowledge.
