1 December 2021 UNESCO and Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNPRPD) is organizing the second webinar on Inclusion of Learners with Disabilities in Open and Distance Learning in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The event coincides with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December.
The webinar aims to present the updated UNESCO’s Learning for All: Guidelines on the Inclusion of Learners with Disabilities in Open and Distance Learning in Russian, Kazakh and Kyrgyz Languages.Based on the guidelines, and the recommendations of the first webinar, the organizers will present an overview of national Open Educational Resources (OER), Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), and Open Access (OA) solutions for governments, educational institutions, teachers, and curriculum developers.
Adapted checklists will provide an international standard for quick and efficient evaluation of any innovations and solutions offered to learners with disabilities.
Webinar participants: developers, distance learning practitioners as well as quality assurance and recognition bodies in developing open educational platforms, processes, courses, examinations to address the needs of all users.
