From 5 to 30 June, UNESCO and Telli Kazakhstan held a large-scale challenge for young people to restore the ecosystems of Central Asia as part of the celebration of World Environment Day.
The first place was taken by the EcoCrossing team, scoring 48 points
With a difference of one point, the second place was taken by the Ecoverde team
The third place was taken by the 3x3 Team
It is noteworthy that a mandatory condition for the registration of teams was a gender balance, so there was an equal number of girls and boys in each team.
Tik-Tok Challenge #GenerationRestoration co-organized with YLSP youth organization gained popularity in Kyrgyzstan and young tiktokers Kubatbekov Temirlan (@Faina_Utel), Moldazhanova Akzholtoy (@M.Akzholtoy) and Batkuldayeva Zharkynai (@Bakirovs13) became its winners. As part of this challenge, young participants recorded short videos on how they make a real contribution to ecosystem restoration.
The final activity of the challenge was an intellectual game Brain Boy on the topic of environmental conservation. Thus, a team from Kokshetau called "Pervyi Orden" took first place, having correctly answered the questions of the quiz.
All winners received memorable gifts from UNESCO and Telli Kazakhstan, which also have an ecological character.
