The review of project proposals to the International Programme for the Development of Communications (IPDC) takes place on 15-16 June 2022 in Paris.
The meeting takes place in a hybrid format.UNESCO Almaty submitted three national projects from Central Asia for approval by the IPDC Bureau:
- Kazakhstan: Assessment of the Safety of Journalists’ 2022
- Kyrgyzstan: Assessment of Internet Universality 2022
- Tajikistan: Media Development Assessment 2022

MediaSDG journalism education and training platform
Following UNESCO/IPDC courses MOOCS will be developed under the project:
- Reporting on Violence against Women and Girls
- Course on the Safety of Journalists
- Conflict-Sensitive Reporting
- Reporting on Climate Change
