As a result of the seminar, the participants learned how to use the PERSIAN algorithm system, including the iRain system, for climate risk management. The participants also exchanged experiences and strengthened cooperation between Central Asian countries in the field of weather and climate monitoring. As a result, on the last day, the participants presented their works and more than 40 participants received certificates from the organizers.
This kind of workshops are valuable, because many researchers don't know about such open source data. Moreover, when the developers of such platforms introduce and explain how to use them, it's even more beneficial.

Capacity-building at the regional level is fundamental to the sustainable development and social stability of the regions. This knowledge and experience will be useful to a wide range of technical specialists and decision makers in the field of water resources management in the future.
