The Second UNESCO Webinar on Education Sector Response to COVID-19 in Central Asia

On 15 May 2020, UNESCO Almaty will organize the 2nd in the webinar series, planned in the framework of a regional online discussion platform on education sector response to COVID-19 for Central Asian countries.

This webinar will discuss various simple technical solutions for distance learning, the end of the school year, and the organization of exams using alternative methods for learning assessments. Participants will have an opportunity to hear more about the experience of Estonia and some other countries.

During the online meeting Mr. Mart Laanpere, Head of the Centre for Educational Technology at Tallinn University (Estonia), will give a presentation on “E-assessment in the context of distance learning: methodology and technical solutions”. Mr. Tigran Yepoyan, UNESCO Regional Advisor on Education and Health, will also make a short presentation.
