The final of the Festival "Children in the Rhythm of World" was held in Almaty on 22 June, 2015

Festival "Children in the Rhythm of the World" has been carried out in the framework of the 70th anniversary of UNESCO and dedicated to the celebration of the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures 2013-2022, aimed at identifying and support of talented young artists of Kazakhstan, realization of their artistic potential and promotion of the country’s culture through children's talants. Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs (KazFUCA) has organized the event.

Since its foundation in 2009, the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations (KazFUCA) is actively engaged in promoting the values of UNESCO in Kazakhstan. Today, it has more than 3,000 members from 35 UNESCO Clubs in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main objective of the Festival is the promotion of UNESCO ideals and principles in the field of education and upbringing, strengthening positions and expanding the network of UNESCO Clubs in Kazakhstan, strengthening the role of youth in the promotion of cultural diversity for dialogue, and understanding through their personal involvement in the conservation of heritage.

The regional selection rounds in Almaty, Astana and other 14 regions of Kazakhstan were held in the framework of the festival. The organizing committee has reviewed more than 1,500 performances of young artists aged between 12-17, and, as a result of these regional selections, 25 finalists became winners in three main categories: vocal, instrumental and choreographies.

The finalists arrived to Almaty from 18 to 22 June 2015 to participate in the final of the Festival and to perform together with the stars of Kazakhstan at the final Gala concert. Master classes on performing arts with interactive training sessions on culture of peace and tolerance also were organized for participants.

A rich and diverse concert program pleased the guests: vocal performances were followed by instrumentals, and they, in turn, were continued by dance performances of the finalists who had already surprised jury members during selection rounds. Kazakhstan well-known artists Roza Rymbaeva, «Art-Vocal», JCS Band, Gaziza Gabdrahimova, Marcel and the Almaty Symphony Orchestra by M. Bisengaliyev also participated in the concert.

The grand gala concert was supported by UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Administration, Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation, NGS+, Total E&P Kazakhstan, SB Capital and Caspian Projects Supply companies, Public Foundation “Doma Doma”.

One of the most important events for the 9 winners in "instrumental" nomination of the Festival will be an opportunity to perform in a concert in the framework of the 43rd World Conference of the International Council of Traditional Music (ICTM) in Astana in July, 2015.
